2025 RAINBOW CONNECTION

& NEW LONDON PRIDE

Trans+ Voices: An Evening of Storytelling

Sunday, May 4, 5:00–7:00pm
New London Barn Playhouse Fleming Center

This evening of storytelling is an opportunity for Kearsarge residents to connect with local trans, nonbinary, and intersex people in an inviting environment. Storytellers will share glimpses of their lives: health care, school, transition, challenges, successes, hopes, and fears. Following individual sharing, we will open the floor to thoughtful questions and reflections.

The art of storytelling involves crafting compelling narratives, offering new perspectives on humanity, and inspiring empathy in order to engage and connect with an audience.

Suggested age: Adults & students age 11+
Content warning: mentions of suicide, medical content, and substance abuse

Join us for 2025 New London Pride Activities!

In 2023, Phoenix Brown, an 8th grade Junior Intern, organized a New London Pride parade all on their own. Last year, Phoenix joined the NLBP Education team as an intern, and we expanded Pride together! This year, we formed a Rainbow Connections group, and several student leaders are organizing events this year!
