Deidre Goodwin (Director/Co-Choreographer) Deidre Goodwin is thrilled to be back at the Barn Playhouse for a 2nd season with A Chorus Line. Deb Leamy (Co-Choreographer) Deb Leamy has enjoyed a professional career in NYC for over 20 years and has more than 15 years of teaching behind her in all forms of dance, musical theatre audition technique, voice, acting, and choreography, with a specialization in the style of Bob Fosse.
Jonathan Parks (Music Director) Jonathan K. Parks is a Manhattan-based music director and is thrilled to be returning to the New London Barn. Previous Barn credits include Gypsy, Forever Plaid, How to Succeed..., and West Side Story. Broadway: Chicago. Off-Broadway: Emojiland. National Tours: Chicago, Young Frankenstein. Madison Cagle (Costume Coordinator) is a New York City-based costume designer and makeup artist. Recent works include DECOMPOSED (The New School), THE CRUCIBLE (Texas State University), LIFE! William Brown (Lighting Designer) William Brown is a New York City based Lighting Designer and is excited to join NL Barn Playhouse for their 90th Anniversary season opening production of A Chorus Line. In his career he has collaborated with Grammy Award winning artists, designed in Europe with RWS Entertainment Group, and worked with Disney Theatrical Group, Playbill, MTI, & iTheatrics on the Junior Theater Festival where he is the Associate Designer. He also works for the renowned modern dance company, José Limón Dance as their Lighting Director and tours around the country with the company. Molly Raven Hopkins* (AEA Assistant Stage Manager) Select credits include - New York: Into the Woods, The Ally. Julie Zedeck (Trombone) Julie is a New York City-based freelance musician and trombone doubler. They are thrilled to be playing A Chorus Line at the New London Barn Playhouse! Julie held the trombone chair in the pit orchestra at the College Light Opera Company from 2017-2019 and had the opportunity to play over 25 musicals under a wide array of successful conductors, ranging from Broadway to orchestral conductors. Julie has performed in The Basement Mixtape at Feinstein's/54 Below, reading session of Off Broadway show Goodbye New York, and Associate Principal Trombone with Imperial Brass, in which Julie is the winner of the 2021-22 Mark Freeh Memorial Scholarship. Julie has appeared as a featured soloist on Rosa Parks Boulevard with the Montclair State University Wind Symphony and on We've Only Just Begun with Imperial Brass. Julie is currently the Principal Trombone of the Montclair State Symphony Orchestra and the founder of the Cali Broadway Orchestra. Versatile in Classical, Big Band, Broadway, Pop, R&B, and Funk styles, and a doubler of Bass Trombone and Euphonium in addition to tenor trombone, Julie enjoys playing in a variety of different settings including pit orchestras, stage bands, symphony orchestras, big bands, wind ensembles, and more! Julie is currently a student of Jennifer Wharton and Mike Boschen as a graduate student at the John J. Cali School of Music
Sean Millman (Drums) Sean Millman, Ph.D. is a dynamic, polished, and cerebral musician active as performer, scholar, arranger, and coach. Currently teaching percussion for Missouri Southern State University, he holds a Ph.D. in Percussion from NYU, and Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the University of Florida. He chairs the Percussive Arts Society Scholarly Research committee, and has presented research to multiple conferences, conventions, and publications. A veteran of the NYC theatre scene, Sean has performed at the SoHo Playhouse, Gallery Players, and Secret Theatre, along with National Sawdust, Symphony Space, and Carnegie Hall. Past performed shows include Next to Normal, Cabaret, Urinetown, Chess, Chicago, Les Miserables, Assassins, Into the Woods, and Damn Yankees. Outside the theatre, Sean performs with symphonies, bar bands, and the new-music duo Ephemera. Dr. Millman endorses Vic Firth, Black Swamp, and Zildjian.
Solomon Abang (Trumpet) "Deeply rooted in a wide range of musical genres, Solomon Temitope Abang has surfaced as promising trumpeter, educator, composer, and vocalist. Born and raised in Nigeria, Solomon has been actively engaged for over a decade as a performer, educator, and composer with notable awards to his name. In 2020, Solomon was the awardee of the prestigious international David Baker Scholarship Award, presented by the Jazz Education Network in New Orleans. A recent music performance graduate from the University of Louisiana, Monroe, Solomon will begin his Master of Music program in trumpet performance at the internationally renowned Cincinnati Conservatory of Music in the fall of 2022."
Zachary Thompson (Reeds) Throughout his whole life Zachary has been involved with music. Ever since he picked up the Recorder in 3rd grade he knew it was what he wanted to do. He started playing clarinet in middle school with saxophone shortly after and eventually added all the other woodwinds to his arsenal by high school and college. Zachary studied Clarinet Performance at Shenandoah Conservatory under Garrick Zoster. He currently works as a Woodwinds Sales and Repair Specialist at Foxes Music Company in Falls Church, VA. When he's not playing music he enjoys playing video games and practicing archery.

Lydia Frew- Cut Dancer; u/s Bebe, Judy, Kristine Lydia Frew is thrilled to be making her New London Barn Playhouse debut! Lydia is a 2021 graduate of Canada’s National Ballet School where she studied for five years in the Professional Ballet Program as well as on exchange with the Ailey School Professional Division. Lydia grew up in Norwich, VT, performing with Northern Stage, Opera North, and Trumbull Hall Troupe. A rising sophomore at Bates College, Lydia is double majoring in dance and psychology. She is beyond grateful for the opportunity to perform at the Barn this summer!
Francesca Mancuso*- Sheila Francesca (Frenchie) Mancuso is thrilled to be back at New London Barn Playhouse! Born and raised in Jamison, PA, Frenchie was trained as a professional dancer under the direction of Terri- Garcia Lee at Pennsylvania School of the Performing Arts. Graduate from Elon University, BFA in Music Theatre. Recent credits include: Lise U/S and ensemble in American in Paris (Drury Lane Theatre), Julia in The Wedding Singer (Elon University), Amy in Little Women, Spot Conlon in Newsies and Lorraine in 42nd Street (New London Barn Playhouse), Principal Dancer in A Flat Rock Christmas (Flat Rock Playhouse). Francesca can also be spotted numerous times in the upcoming season of "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel"! Special thanks to Deidre, Deb, Keith, Elliot, her parents, sisters, and Daniel. Kimberly Pine*- Cassie Kimberly Pine is thrilled to be returning to the Barn this summer! Eliza Richards- Cut Dancer; u/s Cassie, Sheila Eliza is absolutely thrilled to be a part of A Chorus Line at the New London Barn Playhouse. She graduated in 2021 from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a degree in Musical Theatre and an emphasis in dance. She is so grateful the theatre world is slowly but surely getting back to normal- and hopes everyone remains safe and healthy. Sending all well wishes to this incredibly talented Cast and Crew. Pablo Aaron Cantenza Rubin- Cut Dancer; u/s (Lori), Mike (2nd Cover) Pablo Aaron Catenza Rubin (they/he) is a Queer, Jewish, Filipinx Performer and Playwright based in Brooklyn, New York. An alumni of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, they studied in the Experimental Theatre Wing and the International Theatre Workshop in Amsterdam. While at Tisch, he appeared in Marat/Sade, (A New) Blood Wedding, and Le Bourgeois Avant-Garde. Pablo was also selected as a Lab Fellow for Bryce Dallas Howard's production company Nine Muses, where they now continue to mentor current Lab Fellows. He wishes to express his deepest gratitude to the Barn for granting the opportunity to revisit his dance roots: making what was once past, the present once again. Jacob Tischler* (Zach) returns for the 9th time, on his ten year barnieversary. After his 2012 internship (Ragtime, Legally Blonde, Oklahoma!), he came back again (Laughter on the 23rd floor) and again (Spamalot) and again (Forever Plaid) and and (The 39 Steps), and again (Catch Me If You Can). He went on to do some other stuff (Barrington Stage, Olney Theatre, Walnut Street Theatre, Maine State Music Theatre, Westchester Broadway). He also earned his MFA at USC for screenwriting. Now he’s back, with Rashad Chambers, HCKR, and the Coughlin/Cases to thank.
Kelsey Walker- Cut Dancer; u/s Maggie, Val Kelsey Walker is a rising senior studying Musical Theatre and Business for Entertainment at American University in Washington, DC. Favorite recent credits include Camillo (The Winter's Tale), Ensemble (The Boy Detective Fails), Princess of France (Love’s Labour's Lost) at the Barn Playhouse, Sophie (Mamma Mia!), and Elle Woods (Legally Blonde). She is the Music Director of her a cappella group Dime a Dozen, and often arranges pieces for the group. A former JI, Kelsey is thrilled to return to the Barn Playhouse family and explore the business side of the Barn Playhouse this summer! In her free time she enjoys writing and playing music, video games, knitting, and experimenting with all types of recipes.
