TOURING PRODUCTIONS

Announcing our 2025 Fall Touring Production…

The commission of this show was sponsored by David and Kathy Bashaw.

Tommer’s Earthly Friends

by Ralph Krumins & Sage Tokach

The New London Barn Playhouse is going on tour! For the first time ever, New London Barn Playhouse has commissioned a new musical for our touring production. Inspired by local author Kathy Lowe’s story, Tommer’s Earthly Friends explores themes of change, friendship, fitting in, grief, and the wonders of nature. This Fall 2025, schools and other organizations around New Hampshire can bring our professional production of Tommer’s Earthly Friends to students during the school day. Here’s how it works:

  1. Fill out our booking form.

  2. The show will tour from October 27–November 7, 2025. You can choose the date(s) and time(s) that work best for your group.

  3. We can bring the show to your organization or host your group in our Fleming Center (capacity: 125).

  4. We will work with you to determine the price of the show, based on several factors. Our typical fee ranges from $200–$800.

  5. Each booking comes with a free workshop from a Barn Playhouse teaching artist.

SHOW SUMMARY

12 year-old Tommer moves to rural New Hampshire from the city with his dad. He has a hard time fitting in with the other kids but begins encountering creatures in nature who help him discover new perspectives on life and the world around him.
