CAROLINE DIDELOT is over the moon to be making her New London Barn Playhouse debut with this season’s 2018 acting interns! An upcoming junior Music Theatre major at Baldwin Wallace University, Caroline can be found eating a whole pizza by herself and petting every dog on the street. Most recently, Caroline played Virtue is Baldwin Wallace’s production of Anything Goes. Other favorite credits of hers include: Janet (The Drowsy Chaperone), Johanna (Sweeney Todd), and Minnie Fay (Hello Dolly!). Caroline is thankful to BWMT2020, Charlie, and her incredible family. GABRIEL FLORENTINO is a Brooklyn, NYC native and recent Point Park University BFA Musical Theatre graduate (2018). This is his first time at the Barn and couldn’t be more excited/honored to be able to work at this amazing place alongside such a star-stacked Acting Intern Company and creative team! Some past credits include: Giuliano (Big Love), Ralph (Kiss Me Katie), Toby (Sweeney Todd) and more. This upcoming season you can catch him tackling the role of Modred in Camelot. JUSTINE M. GOGGIN is a senior at Dartmouth College, graduating with a major in English and a minor in Theater. Some of her favorite roles include Sally in Cabaret, and O’Brien in 1984. Beyond performing, Justine’s passion for the arts extends to her work in arts education, rooted in her belief in the transformative and empowering experience that the creative process provides to youth. Justine is honored to be a member of the 2018 Acting Intern Company. She cannot wait to officially become a Barnie!
GRAHAM HANCOCK is super excited to be featured in this summers company at the playhouse. He is from Franklin Massachusetts and just finished his junior year at Penn State pursuing a BFA in musical theatre. Recent credits include Kiss of the Spider Woman, American Idiot, Gruesome Playground Injuries, Be More Chill and All Shook Up.
FRENCHIE MANCUSO is a Junior BFA Music Theatre major from Elon University and is originally from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She is a trained dancer from SIMBT part of Pennsylvania School of the Performing Arts under the direction of Terri Garcia-Lee. Some of her favorite credits include: Flat Rock Playhouse’s productions of Annie and featured dancer as a Josephette in Joseph…Technicolor Dreamcoat; Elon University’s American Idiot, Hello Dolly! and Oklahoma!; and Peter Pan in Peter Pan. She is so incredibly excited to be at New London Barn this summer and is so thankful for this opportunity! DEAN MARCHANT is a rising senior majoring in Musical Theater, with an emphasis in directing, at the Boston Conservatory. He has been seen recently as Leaf Coneybear in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Berklee MTC), Liam in Phoebe in Winter (Boston Conservatory), and Warren Straub in This is Our Youth (EarthStone Theatre Co.). Dean is thrilled to perform at the Playhouse for the first time this summer, and would like to thank Mom, Dad, Anna, T Gregg, Alex, and Paul for their support.
MONICA OWEN is delighted to be spending her summer at the Barn! Monica is a recent graduate of the BFA music theatre program at The Hartt School. Past credits include The Comedy of Errors (Hartford Stage), Sweetwater (Goodspeed Festival of New Musicals), Little Women, 42nd Street, Evita, and A Little Night Music (The Hartt School). ANDREW NELIN is from Virginia Beach, VA and is currently studying Music Theatre at the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music in Cleveland. Andrew was seen in the ensemble of Anything Goes at BW last fall. Other credits include Finch in How to Succeed…, Fred in A Christmas Carol, Bobby in Crazy for You, and Frank Jr. in Catch Me If You Can. He is so thrilled to be a part of the 2018 Intern Company at the Barn!
JAKE PEDERSON, from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, is a rising sophomore B.F.A Musical Theatre Major at Penn State University. He is thrilled to be joining the New London Barn Company. Last summer Jake was a Jimmy Awards nominee for Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat for the National High School Musical Theatre Awards held in NYC. Jake has grown up in the theatre studying with Jeters Backyard Theatre and the Pittsburgh CLO Academy. He is excited to continue his journey here at the Barn! ALEXANDER ROBINSON is from Buffalo, NY and is a rising junior at The Hartt School where he is pursuing a BFA in Music Theatre. He is ecstatic to be joining the New London Barn family! Alex was most recently seen in NYC originating the role of James in the workshop production of America Project: A New Musical. Other favorite credits include Animal Farm (Napoleon) at The Hartt School, The Rhythm of U.S. at The Hartt School, and Pippin (Pippin) at Academy of Theatre Arts. SARA SARGENT is thrilled to be joining the 2018 Acting Intern Company. She is a rising senior at Emerson College, where she is pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre. Previous credits include Guys and Dolls, Grease (Maine State Music Theatre), KISS (ArtsEmerson), Titanic and Urinetown (Emerson Stage). Growing up in San Antonio, Texas, Sara is excited to escape the heat for the summer to celebrate the 86th Season of New London Barn Playhouse! All the glory to God and endless thanks to my family.
DANIEL TEIXEIRA hails from Brazil and is a rising Junior in the B.F.A. Musical Theatre Program at Penn State University. Prior to coming to Penn State, Daniel attended the Tring Park School for the Performing Arts in the United Kingdom. Although he has moved seven times between three different continents, theatre has always remained a constant for him. Some of his most recent credits include Nicely-Nicely Johnson in Guys & Dolls (Tring Park), Cliff in Cabaret (Tring Park) and Gabriel in Kiss of The Spiderwoman (Penn State). Daniel is thrilled to be spending his summer at the New London Barn and would like to thank his parents, Gabriela and Claudio, for their eternal support and trust. CARLY VALANCY is so excited to be joining the long list of amazing Barnies! Carly is a Florida native and graduate from the University of Northern Colorado, UNC who will be moving to the Big Apple after this wonderful summer closes. Some of her favorite roles include Natalie in All Shook Up, Maisie in The Boy Friend, Mrs. Walker in The Who’s Tommy, and Woman #2 in I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. She cannot wait to start working on this amazing season!
