At the New London Barn Playhouse

Come behind the scenes at the Barn! As part of the Lake Sunapee Region Center for the Arts’ “First Fridays” series, the New London Barn will be opening our doors for a unique insider’s look at the creative process.

Sit in on 45 minutes of a Godspell rehearsal, followed by a Q&A session with select members of the cast and a light reception provided by our friends at the CFA. And don’t forget to follow up your Open Rehearsal experience by seeing this deeply compelling, classic musical, in performance June 14-25!

The event is free and open to all. For more information about the “First Friday” series, visit the Center for the Arts website

Acting Interns on the Green!
 The Ausbon Sargent Birthday Party
Wednesday June 7, on the New London Town Green

Our great friends at the Ausbon Sargent Land Preservation Trust are celebrating their 30th Anniversary with a gathering on the Town Green from 1:00-2:30 pm, during which members of the Barn’s Acting Intern Company will be offering a brief performance. The ASLPT is a non-profit land protection organization with the mission to protect the rural landscape in the Mt. Kearsarge/Ragged/Lake Sunapee region, and June 7 is the birthday of their namesake Ausbon Sargent, a retired maintenance worker from Colby-Sawyer College who spent his life savings in 1985 to purchase and gift to the town the 3-acre parcel that is now the Town Green.
