A Newsies Weekend

Join us for a weekend of singing, acting, and dancing, all focused on our stellar 2018 Summer Season! We’ll Seize the Day and learn material from Newsies, as well as material from Camelot42nd Street, and Little Women
Taught by Barn alumni, and with sessions for young performers age 8-12 and 13-18, this intensive will give students a closer look at these exciting musicals while developing their triple-threat performance skills, having a great time along the way!
Teaching Artists include Katie Siegmund (Junior Intern Company Music Director, 2015 & 2016; The Secret Garden Music Director, 2017) teaching singing, Andrew Miller (Educations Programs Manager; Romeo and Juliet Director, 2017) doing scene work; and Peter Garza (2017 Acting Intern) teaching dance!

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

There are two ways to enroll your child in the Musical Theater Intensive:

1) ONLINE:  Click here to be directed to the online portal. *Please note: a $3.50 will be charged for online orders. This fee is imposed by and goes directly to our ticketing software company.

2) BY MAIL: To register and pay by mail, please click here to download the paper registration form. You can print this form, fill out and return it with a check to the address below. Checks should be made out to New London Barn Playhouse; please note the full name of your child and the words “spring intensive” in the check’s memo section. If paying for multiple children, please note that as well.

Every student must also submit a completed release form (download HERE). This can be brought to the first day of class, mailed to the address below, or emailed to education@nlbarn.org. We will also have copies available on Saturday morning.

PLEASE NOTE: Enrollment is only guaranteed with tuition payment. Subject to availability, it may sometimes be possible to temporarily hold a spot for your child if you are not yet 100% sure of your plans. Please email education@nlbarn.org to discuss this possibility. Additionally, a tuition forgiveness policy exists for all our education programs.
