Summer Camps

Summer Camps 2019

Using the framework of themed weeks, our camps are designed to be an introduction to various theatrical talents including acting, musical theatre, playwriting, improvisation, dance and movement, performing Shakespeare, and more! In the afternoons, we offer camps to hone specific theatre skills. Each camp culminates in a performance on the Barn stage. Camps are taught by Barn staff, members of the Acting Intern Company, and professional guest artists. We look forward to having your family join us this summer!

Guidelines & Additional Information

RELEASE FORM: In order to participate in NLBP Camps, campers must have an annual release form on file. This can be emailed to or brought to the first day of class. We will also have copies available on the first day of the session.

WHAT TO WEAR: Campers should come to camp dressed in “play clothes” and close-toed shoes.

WHAT TO BRING: All campers should bring a water-bottle and a snack (nut-free only). Full-day campers should also bring a lunch.

  • I’m having trouble registering online. What are some other ways I can register?

You can register over the phone by calling our Camps Director at (857) 220-8589. You can also register with the Box Office (once it opens, both in person or over-the-phone), or on the first day of camp (though this late of an option runs a higher probability of your desired camp being full).

  • My child is a little bit younger/older than the camp ages that are recommended. Is it okay for me to register my child anyway?

If your child is under 6 or over 11 years old, please send a quick email to our Camps Director ( You’ll be asked a few questions about your child to see whether or not camps would be a good fit at their current age.

  • What is the refund policy?

We understand plans change. All refunds must be requested prior to the first day of camp. We cannot offer a refund after a camp has begun and we do not offer partial refunds.

  • The camp I want is full. What do I do?

We have several camps that we know your child will love! Many of the morning camps have a similar structure, so we encourage you to sign up for another available camp! If you still prefer your first choice, you can email our Camps Director ( to be put on the waiting list.

  • How does the waiting list work?

Waiting lists for camps operate on a first-come, first-served basis. If a cancellation occurs in a camp, the first camper listed on the waiting list will fill the spot, and so on. We cannot guarantee that campers on a waiting list will be able to attend that camp.

  • Can I fill out one release form for multiple children?

Absolutely – we love less paperwork! If multiple campers are siblings, just include the names/ages of all campers on the form.

If you have any other questions, please email our Camps Director, Kayla May, at!
